Registration and Subscription
By signing the GeorgeTutor Registration Form, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
- I agree to purchase a monthly subscription tutoring service or session package as described by my choices in the GeorgeTutor Registration Form.
- I agree to accept whatever slot allocation(s) I am assigned from those I identified in the Registration Form as available.
- I agree to pay the fees indicated by my choices in the GeorgeTutor Registration Form, and I understand that I will be billed in advance in monthly cycles for a subscription, or in two equal monthly instalments for a session package. I am aware that fees are due on the 15th of each month and are late after the 23rd of the month.
- I agree that additional fees may be assessed for late payments, for changes of plan or package, for cancellation of my plan or package once I have signed the Registration Form, and for sessions delivered other than the “slot sessions” in the subscription or package I am purchasing.
- I agree that the slot sessions that accompany the monthly subscription or package I am purchasing are “use-or-lose” in the sense that if I or my student cancel or miss an appointment, GeorgeTutor is not obligated to replace it.
- I agree that if a slot session in the monthly subscription plan I am purchasing happens to fall on a published Federal Holiday, then that session may not be delivered and will not be replaced.
- I agree to terminate a 5+ month subscription by giving in writing a full month’s notice of intent to terminate together with payment in full for the billing period following the billing period in which I give notice. Shorter (1-4 month) subscriptions must be fully paid to term in order to terminate but require no special notice period. No notice is required to terminate service from a session package. I understand these distinctions.
- I agree that, at GeorgeTutor’s sole discretion, tutoring delivery may take various forms, not limited to slot sessions but also including preparation time, grading, written comment, phone calls, text messaged support, site visits, etc.
- I give permission to my student to discuss and make minor scheduling changes, with GeorgeTutor’s agreement. I agree that my student is NOT authorized to discuss, execute or adjust financial arrangements or negotiate level-of-service changes.
- I agree that my student and I will support GeorgeTutor’s preferred technologies and methodologies for the booking, management and delivery of the online services that I am purchasing.
